Solution

Roof replacement of Grasslands Clubhouse due to leaks and damaged tile. Project must be completed during business hours and without any disruption to on-going business and customers.

Solution:
It was voted by the Clubhouse to remove the tile roof and use shingles as a replacement due to cost. Springer-Peterson helped with deciding on using Fienna Architectural Shingles. These shingles come with 7 year workmanship warranty from Springer-Peterson and a limited life time warranty from the manufacturing company. Existing gutters were left in place and all new copper valleys and flashings were installed.

Throughout the entire project, the Pro-shop and Country Club were open, therefore safety was imperative to keep customers clear from the work-site. Working areas were always blocked off properly and debris was cleaned immediately. In addition, our work schedule was flexible, as there were special events the Clubhouse had which called for zero on-site work. We were flexible, and made up for the days off due to the Clubhouse events.

In addition, roof replacement was also occurring at the pool house of the Clubhouse as the shingles had reached the end of their life span. This project was a shingle tear off re-roof. The pool house also remained opened during the entire project. Once the roof was removed, all decking was nailed to meet Florida Roofing Code. All new seamless gutters and down spouts were installed and made custom onsite with our machinery.

Overall, the project was a success and our client was pleased. Springer-Peterson has three generations attending this Clubhouse and it was our pleasure to be of service.
